Hi Wayne,

Good to hear from you.  While my Mom still resides in Victorville, I do not.  I have been a working municipal attorney in the City Attorney's Office in the City of Richmond, California, for the last 29 years, trying my best to directly address some of the social issues we talked about in college so many years ago.  I also have written six books (Pan-African Chronology (three volumes), The Muslim Diaspora (two volumes), and The Creation (one volume).  You remember the adage, "Think globally, act locally." Well, my job is the local part and my writing is the global part.

What led you to Mountain State?  Last time we communicated, I think you were at Drexel or Temple.

Anyway, I have to run.  It is a blast to hear from you.  Look forward to hearing from you again.

Everett

Yo Everett,

Glad to see you’re still alive and kicking.  Are you still in the Victorville area or did you finally relocate elsewhere.  I’m in WV these days, working at Mountain State University.  It’s an interesting place, although we get back Philly as often as possible for a more urban experience.

Regards,
W
